The service department at this dealership was a breath of fresh air,. I've been to other dealerships where their service departments just give you a smoke screen and basically charge you whatever the book says. These guys really work hard to give you the most value for your dollar. Shout out to my now permanent service manager Brianna! I can't thank her enough for the service she's provided for me! She is definitely one of a kind!

We went down together to get a car my daughter liked. She is an Airman in the Air Force. She was not able to get the car she wanted so our sales consultant said he has another good car for her. It was actually an upgrade and a better fitted car for her, very nice at a slightly cheaper price. We worked with Joseph Hinojosa. We were very pleased at how he handled us very professionally patient we had our guard up but he proved honest and helpful. We appreciate Joseph very much he was so nice and caring. I brought my car 🚘 in for service for the first time this week at Shottenkirk Toyota because it is the closest dealership / service center to my current workplace. I wasn’t sure what to expect because there are so many mixed reviews. But I was due soon for my 15000 mile maintenance, and was hoping to get this done by or before August. Overall, I felt like the customer service was just as exceptional 🌟 as at Cavender Toyota and Universal Toyota. James Greene (one of the Assistant Service Managers) who checked me in for my 7 am appointment was really welcoming, friendly and courteous :) ! He updated me with both text messages and also by finding me in the huge waiting area. So I felt like he did his best to communicate both verbally in person, and also by text. The service technician 👨‍🔧 was also pretty great 🌟 about sending me a maintenance video link 📹 to my cell phone 📱 to show me what he found, and made it really easy and clear for me see what he immediately recommended. In addition to what was included for the 15000 mile maintenance under my Toyota Care Plan, I decided to go with their recommendations to replace the engine air filter and cabin / HEPA filter because I could tell from the video they shared of my car that these desperately needed to be replaced. Perhaps it’s because I made an early 7 am appointment on a Thursday, I was pretty happy that I was able to get my 15000 mile maintenance 👨‍🔧, and also get my cabin / HEPA filter and engine air filter, all completed within 1.5 hours 😃! If I had really wanted to, I could have taken up on using their complimentary shuttle 🚎 to get to and from work. But when James told me that the estimated wait time for the specified service on my car would be 1-2 hours, I just decided to wait in their waiting area, help myself to their hot complimentary coffee ☕️, and get some tasks done ✅ for work on my laptop 💻. There is plenty of seating, with sofa chairs 🛋️ and adjacent small tables around a TV 📺 if you would like to watch 👀 the movie 🎥 at the moment. And for parents who must bring their young children with them, there is a play area 🛝 to keep their children occupied 🙂! Any payment with a credit card 💳 would incur a 3% fee. I didn’t read reviews before making my appointment, or before bringing my car in. Unless you have read reviews by other clients about this, you only find this out when you come to the cashier station to pay, and there is a sign on the counter to notify you about the 3% credit card fee. I decided to use my debit card instead so I wouldn’t have to incur the fee that comes with a credit card transaction. China (the cashier) was super friendly and courteous, and checked me out 😃! In regards to servicing your vehicle 🚗 🛻 🚙, I would recommend this Toyota dealership 🙂!

Came from another Toyota dealer due to the last bad service experience over there. I had lost total confidence in Toyota for any future services and would have not considered purchasing any Toyota vehicle because of that last negative experience alone. Luckily, I decided to give another Toyota location an opportunity and was not disappointed after coming to Shottenkirk. They have easily exceeded my expectations. Received an oil change on my first visit and replaced my tires on the second visit. Good vibes, great service, good communication, shorter and more precise wait times, much lower prices, and better overall experience. All Toyota personnel I have encountered there were friendly, professional and helpful. A shout out to Michael Nolte! Hands down one of the main reasons for my overall positive experience and review. Shottenkirk Toyota exceeded my expectations and experience shopping for a vehicle. Alan Fernandez got the vehicle that I found online and went straight to work. No gimmicks, no hassle and no pressure. I was in and out in less than 2hrs which was possible because of Z from the financing department. I’d highly recommend this dealership for any new/used vehicle if you’re in the market for one that they have on their lot. You won’t regret doing so shopping at Shottenkirk Toyota!

I went in on Thursday to go see what kind of options I had if I traded in my car this is when I met Justin we sat down I told him my wants and needs in a new car how I would love for a new car but would be open for anything told him mine and my husbands ideal budget and he said don’t worry I have you guys made the appointment to come in Saturday with my husband we got to our appointment early and Justin was already outside and had a smile on his face ready to get to Business he went and showed my husband two cars that he thought we would love was even patient with us due to having our two year old with us after test drive the two cars we started running number some where in the process of all this my husband must have said he also wouldn’t mind a new truck joking around well next thing we know we get told we got the car we wanted and than Justin wanted to show us one more thing first he pulls the truck that my husband wanted said we can make a deal raise in both our cars and the both of us walking out with 2026’s. After some time Justin came back with another smile and said we have a deal worked out and you both are gonna be happy after being there all day we walked out with not only my new car but my husband new truck as well Justin set out on a goal and never once disappointed us at all treated as if we been friends or family for years even hung out with us for a while asked about our child how we meet and what lead us to getting new cars heck Justin even made sure that both our new vehicles was detail and full tanks of gas before we left and the best part was they worked with us with zero down I couldn’t ask for a better experience if you gonna buy a car or in the market for a new one go ask for Justin this man can work miracles and you’ll walk out happy never once did Justin lose his smile all day at all so thank you again for dealing with us all day long Justin from the Woodhull family

Back at Shottenkirk Toyota to get a recall done, and some other service work completed that overall took 5 hours. My Service Advisor was Aaron and he kept me well informed of the areas needing immediate attention, and areas that might need attention in 6 months to a year. I was able to get a ride home and back via their shuttle service (note there is a limit how far they will drive for drop/pickup). Overall, good customer service, good technician services, and fair prices (I did use some coupons to lower the cost). FYI: They started this some time back, but if you pay with a credit card, there is a 3% fee. Check and debit cards, no fee. December 2025 To to take care of a Prius maintenance light, which turn out to be a oil change. James was my service advisor and he does real well taking care of his customers. March 2025 I needed to visit Shottenkirk Toyota again for my car, which is a Prius, as it had a maintenance reminder light on the dash. My service advisor, JJ, took real good care of me and kept me informed, as needed. I maintenance process was quick, and the teams are working to reduce their customers wait times. JJ and the technicians did good work for me. I can't thank these guys enough, and I appreciate the good work and good service.

I was initially sold a vehicle with undisclosed prior damage and had I been aware of this I’m confident I would have made a different purchasing decision or negotiated appropriate repairs and compensation, BUT after a conversation with the general manager all was made right. We have been shopping for my daughter Anna for 2 months for a car for her Hs graduation. Contacted Allen Fernandez at Shotten Kirk Toyota in san antonio. He showed us a 2013 vw toureg with61jk miles. It needed tires and brakes. They repaired it and gave us a great deal we bought it weds. Allen Fernandez our sales man is phenomenal . He was patient not pushy,and was very nice. He listen to us and ours needs. He made sure we got a great deal and followed on ever update on the repairs. He made the car delivery is sooo special for my daughter wirh a big bow on the car and a personalized thank you note . He made sure she was fully gassed up.
